When I set out to make this posting I didn’t really sound too alarmist but with some serious consideration and a little help from my friends, decided this election was way too important for me not to do whatever I could to help whoever might stop by and add to their decision making process; maybe send along to anyone they might know that might be undecided. It is pretty alarming.
We are ten days away from the election that will determine the future of the free world. The Mo is in Romney’s direction and seems to be gaining steam; the hints of desperation evident in Obama’s rhetoric as he makes his final stops across swing states making the case for why Americans need to elect him for another four years of, well, you know.
“President Obama is doing exactly what he decried in 2008: making a big election about small things, talking about Big Bird, binders, and bayonets. It’s clear President Obama can’t defend his record and he’s flat out of ideas to get our economy going.”
A friend send me a video clip made by a young lady about her concerns that’s so compelling and well-presented it gives you hope about future generations and that they’ve learned about what can happen when you elect a statist:
Jenny is a 13-year-old 8th grader who’s been interested in politics for a couple of years. She was confused about the claims of the Democrats and the claims of the Republicans.
So, she decided to look at the facts and do a report card for President Barack Obama and one for Governor Mitt Romney. She compared them and now presents her findings in this video.
While many of us have been talking for years about the necessity for Voter ID laws in order to maintain the integrity of our voting system or else there will be cheating and we’ll end up with Al Franken types in the Senate (and elsewhere) we can now see Democrat operatives in operation:
A criminal investigation regarding a video sting reported by WND that caught the field director for Democratic Rep. Jim Moran’s campaign in an apparent conspiracy to commit election fraud has been initiated by the Arlington County Police Department in Virginia.
And even if the fraud in that piece is an isolated case, consider the following:
Experts: Hackers will crack election systems
With the U.S. presidential election turning into a dead heat, every vote is going to count, but if some hackers had their way, your vote won’t matter.
Hacktivist groups like Anonymous and LulzSec are growing more sophisticated every day with their use of new collaborative hacking techniques, such as “crowdsourcing.” Meanwhile, voter databases are increasingly being put online on state and local computer systems that are often insecure and administered by part-time IT personnel.
If it hasn’t already happened, with all the advances in software, how long can it be that we’ll see hacking into election results rendering anyone’s vote meaningless? And which Party do you think these mostly young hackers are going to favor?
In the meantime just when we thought we had enough problems with economic and foreign policy issues, we have the latest news about EMP microwaves – the capability to use this technology to disable computer networks – with the potential to knock out the electric grid. You can imagine the state of the union but what exactly if that improbable scenario were to play out in the next four years if we rehire our Narcissist-in-Chief as opposed to doing what Clint says has to happen.
A pre-programmed cruise missile not too different from a drone has been proven to be capable of blasting out an EMP-type microwave that was able to destroy personal computers and electrical systems inside a building over which it was flying.
The U.S. Air Force and its contractor Boeing have created the High-powered Microwave Advanced Missile Project, or CHAMP, which was just tested over a Utah desert.
These developments have not gone unnoticed by other countries that are aware of the effects of EMP weapons and may be developing some of their own.
Iran, for example, has been flying unmanned aerial vehicles, or UAVs, over U.S. warships in the Persian Gulf for some time taking photos. They easily could be equipped with a magnetron to knock out the electronics on board the ships, since their UAVs are virtually stealthy.
Indeed, Iran has even admitted that it had used newly developed microwave technology to trick the electronics onboard the SQ-170 stealth U.S. drone which it claims it downed in November 2011 as it flew a spy mission from Afghanistan.
So, let me ask a question. What do you want the United States of America to be?
